Can you liquidise grapes in a blender for a smoothie type creation [or will the skins make it awful]? What about satsumas? Have a few to get rid of.....lol

No, it'll be fine. Add some milk and it it a nice fruity drink. You'll probably find it thicker at the bottom, but it's not unpleasant.

Hi

Well, i have tried so many different fruits and veggies, i`m afraid it is a hit or miss thing.

As regards to things like satsumas, oranges, lemons etc some can be really pleasant, however with some oranges using the whole thing, makes them really bitter even with milk, and a strange taste.

Do one fruit, taste the juice, you will soon know if its nice or not, then make your smoothie with the ones you like, any combination you like - its all good :>)
I agree with the previous posts - give it a try, but if the grapes have seeds you may end up with a bitterness if the seeds are crushed. Cheers, Andy
Had a satsuma, kiwi fruit, apple juice & banana smoothie for my lunch - delicious. I always put it through the flour sieve so I'm sure there are no pips etc.
you can always drain the result through a sieve so you don't get pips, skin and pith.
I love raspberry smoothies and always drain the juice first then add banana, ice cream or milk and re-wizz it
Hiya divegirl, i know its not really answering your question but have you tried freezing grapes?? I buy loads of them, give them a wash and pop them in the freezer. They are great when you get a sugar craving!x
