Do you need a different license to drive a double decker bus as oppose to a single decker bus?

To drive a Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) you must have Category D entitlement on your licence.

Category D is defined as 'Any bus with more than 8 passenger seats with [or without] a trailer up to 750kg'.
...I should have added that I have ignored categories D1 (minibuses) and E (larger trailers) as being irrelevant in regard to the way the question was phrased.
