Do speed camera vans get you for speeding going past or towards them

Normally toward them. You will see a man inside, pointing the laser device at your car. It can't be done through the van windows, the side or back door must be open and he must have clear line of sight.

it can get you going away from it and coming towards it,so you better keep a look out for the postman

yes it can get you both ways,but it depends on how many cameras in the van and how its positioned,in beds where i live they tend to have two,one for oncoming and one for going away.
