commuting books
8 Answers
Hi,
I have a long train commute every day to and from work so i get through quite a few books.
can anyone suggest any decent books? i've recently been in to Jodi Picoult, Nikki French, Torey Hayden and Carmen Reid (and have read most of their books). can anyone suggest any books by any other FAB authors?
thanks

You could try the Womens Murder Club by James Patterson, 1st to Die, 2nd change, 3rd Degree, 4th July, 5th Horseman, you must read them in order. I read all five books in about three weeks (I only have a 5minute drive to work, so won;t take you long). Also for a bit of a giggle and a non-brainer, try Jill Mansell, Chris Manby, Jane Gree.
Happy reading.
Happy reading.
I've just read a wonderful book by Sarah Dunant called "the Birth of Venus" - couldn't put it down- and can also recommend "A Short History of Tractors in Ukranian" by Marina Lewycka (very funny - not at all what the title suggests. Also all the Tracy Chevalier books (ie The Girl with the Pearl Earring)
