Roof tiles advice
1 Answers
I have a conservatory made from a concrete base, brick walls approx. six bricks high, then wood and windows. It has a plastic sloping roof. During the summer it gets very hot - like a green house. During the winter it is cold, despite having a heater on. I have lined the inside of the roof with insulation (the type you cut up) and board so that it looks like a normal ceiling. I want to do something with the outside. The plastic gets green with mould etc. I was think about using some lightweight, slim tiles - like the kind that you sometimes see on the front of houses. Does anyone know where to source these? I have tried the usual DIY places, plus Jewsons. Or does anyone have any other ideas? The structure will not take normal clay tiles. Thanks guys.
