Ok, so what have Jade, Jackiey, Jo & Dani said that is racist?

In my opinion, they've not said anything racist whatsoever. Ignorant, stupid, misguided...maybe, but never racist. Yet Jermaine has described Jackiey as 'white trash' and no-one has batted an eyelid. All this classic Asian hysteria and over-reaction...where's the justification?

I'd completely forgotten that Jackiey deliberately mispronounced Shilpa's name and referred to her as 'The Indian'.

Yes, Jackiey referred to Shilpa as �the Indian�. I don't think that was racist. Jackiey clearly has a limited vocabulary anyway, but with that one word we know instantly which housemate she�s talking about. Besides, Indian is Shilpa�s nationality. If Jackiey were referred to as �the English�, would anyone consider that offensive? Definitely not.

Over here (in Spain) I used to be known as El Ingles - (yup in the maculine form aswell!!) but now there are so many English it doesn't apply and I never thought of it as racist - more a term of affection in those days.
