I have seen a few articles and tv programs over the years about young children having spoken about their 'previous lives'. Most of the time ive decided its all a bit of a con or encouragement by parents but some stories have left me wondering if its more than just coincidence.
The other day I was sat with my son and suddenly he stopped playing, made the sign of the cross on his body, you know the head, chest, shoulder, shoulder and then put his hands together and head down as if praying. He stayed like this for a couple of seconds and then started playing again as normal.
No-one in our family is religious in as far as going to church and I cant think where he may have got this from. I asked him to do it again and he just looked blankly at me as if he didnt know what he had done.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Have you tried speaking French to him and see if he replies?

now that really would scare me if he replied. Not that id know what he was saying lol
don't be scared of this. there is nothing sinister about it.

i know its weird, but i would explore it and consider it gift, a chance to get a knowledge of something very rare and that few get to experience. it also shows he is open and probably has some kind of intelligence and intuition to be able to access and make some sense of these thoughts and feelings.

he will soon forget all about it, so try to find out more - if reincarnation is real, it is these memories of another person that may well help to make your son who he will grow up to be.

there is a theory that unexplained natural abilities come from previous lives, such as someone who is a natural athlete or artist or musician, and picks these things up easily.
this theory also applies to unexplained fears, phobia and emotions.

i also read of a little boy who went on and on so much about his past life, giving names, dates, places etc that eventually his parents looked into it...suffice to say he is now friends with his previous 'wife and kids' and they accept him as such.
another one was a child directed the parents to search under the floor in an old barn in another town and they found something that he could not have known about.

many think the kids are making it up, or have been coached, and if the kids were about 8 or 9 i would perhaps be inclined to agree, but at 2,3,4 years old, these kids have not faltered under intense questioning.
i don't believe you could coach a child of that age and i don't believe they could even begin to make something like this up.

thanks joko,
i shall just see what else he may come out with or do. Hes quite a bright little lad who can pick things up quite easily so i will have to be very wary of what outside influences are around him when he does something odd.
I read a lot about reincarnation as well. One of the best is By Jenny ******* " Yesterday's Children". Its based on her own experiences of being a poor wife and mother who died young in Ireland. She's so spot on,it's amazing. Jenny even met up with some of children from her former life and they were stunned at her knowing so much, especially one son named Sonny who was in his late 70's when Jenny tracked him down.
