Have you looked through the poems of Sir Thomas Wyatt ( 16th Century) and / or Thomas Warton (poet Laureate - end of 18th Century) ?

Kettledrum -thanks for taking an interest. I feel as if I've searched through every poet that has ever put pen to paper - and then I go and miss the obvious!
