How come the hair on your head grows faster than other bodily hair.Animals seem to grow their hair evenly all over

Animals have the same type of hair all over their bodies. Human hair is different..the hair on our heads is different to the fine hair on our bodies, and pubic hair is different again!
We are all covered in hair ~ our body hair is fine and not always visible to the naked eye. Evolution has dicated that we no longer need to be as hairy as our ancestors. Neanderthal men & women were as hairy as each other...
