Ear Wax

I have had ezcema (sp?) in my ears for ages now and it doesnt bother me until it gets infected then its a nightmare. Anyway the doctor told me the reason I have the ezcema is because my ears dont produce ear wax. Now they used to produce wax so what could cause them to stop doing so?

Now I know Im a lazy cow but surely it doesnt take that much effort to product a bit of wax lol

I get that too PIxi, and when it gets infected and your face swells up its horrible isnt it. The worse thing you can do with eczema in your ears is get them wet or stick anything down them. A nightmare when they are itching like mad but dont do it. Get an ear bud and dip it in vaseline and coat your ears with it... works a treat. I havent had infected ears for over 2 yrs since I took that bit of advice.

Hi pixi, I used to suffer the same as you until I changed my shampoo and conditioner. I used to use Pantene and it cleared up when stopped using it. Just a thought ! I hope it clears up soon ,x

hi souly, oh god the face swelling is horrible innit? All the outside of my ears, my jaw and the sides of my cheeks swell like mad :( Thanks for the vaseline tip, you are a star, it drives me mad when they start to itch.
