ummm I think you need to read the bits of the textbook you hvae been doing.
Sperm tail is there to wiggle
If you look at a diagram of the top bit, mitcochondria are lined up, and these generate the energy required.
So the structure of the tail (lots of mit) is closely allied to its function (need to wiggle)
Part 2 - look at a diagram of the skin - different part of the book. Basically this is the process of keratinisation. The process is reflected in the diagram - young cells at the bottom and old cells at the top. The main function you are looking at is limiting fluidloss and being waterproof - although skin does a bit more than that.
