James Patterson - Alex Cross
2 Answers
I have been reading some of the Alex Cross books, but in no real order, I read Mary Mary and then I have bought Cross as it is next, but it says on the front of Cross that he faces his wifes murderer, does anyone know which book this is as I think I should read that one before Cross.
Does anyone know the other book or does Cross explain things?
Sorry if its a but confusing, I have tried to explain fully.

That web page seems to suggest that Cross's wife died in an drive-by shooting prior to the first book. (i.e. he's always been a widower and, up until now, the killer has never been found).

It is well worth reding the Alex cross novels in the correct order. The list runs as follows:-
Along came a spider.
Kiss the girls.
Jack and Jill.
Cat and mouse.
Pop goes the weasel.
Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
Four blind mice.
The big bad wolf.
London bridges.
Mary Mary,
and finally Cross. I hope this will be of some help to you.Cook.
