spyware detection

Recently my computer has been running very slow. A sig that either spyware, adware or some other interferring nuisance was creeping in. My scan program kept telling me that www.tradedoubler.com was the culprit, and I have been removing it. But it comes back. Not sure how it happens but today I found out.

Each time I open Answerbank, along the bottom of my screen while it is locating the website, I notice for a fraction of a second the words www.tradedoubler.com

Would you believe it?

Is nothing sacred from those marketing morons, exising merely to interfere with other people's pleasures?

Fortunately, I now know how to permanently eliminate and be free of that devious spyware from walking all over my computer.

I have the exact same problem and it making it hard to access answerbank.Please could you tell me how to remove this.I have spyzooka and it gets rid but then its back just like you say.Cheers Dean.

jcw001 has come up with a good link, but I am sure you have to pay for that. However, I have downloaded spybot - search and destroy and do a daily scan. Also . . . .

It is a good idea to block Third Party Cookies.

Go to Internet Explorer. Click on Tools, then Internet Options, then Privacy tab. Click Advanced, put a check mark in Override Auto Cookies. And under First Party check Accept. Under Third Party check Block. Then click OK, OK

That has done the trick for me regarding www.tradedoubler.com
