Cornus

I have a red cornus in my garden - can anyone tell me if its poisonous please?

My dog keeps going near it and I am worried - many thanks.

Cornus is safe. Probably the dog knows its called dogwood and can`t keep away. It`s always the same if you don`t want them to do something. Our neighbour has a small plant which he even put a little wire around,the dogs not happy unless he ***** his leg there.
