phone camera lens cover is cracked - any ideas for replacing?
1 Answers
Hi
my camera phone lens cover has a big crack right through the centre so any pics have a white streak obscuring half the picture
I have been told - by nokia themselves - to take it to a repairer, but i suspect that would cost a bit, probably more than the phone lol - but also there isn't one anywhere near me.
Does anyone have any ideas of what i could use as a replacement? its just a disc of plastic really.
or know where i can order one that i can fit myself?
i can probably prise the piece bit out but that would leave the actual lens uncovered so need something over it.
any ideas?
many thanks

Majority of the time these are easy to fit even if your phone wasn't designed to have a changeable cover. A T6 or similar screwdriver (most of the time supplied by the seller) will allow you to replace the entire case of the phone, with what I assume will include the camera lens cover.
