theres a man giving out leaflets in my town , i gave him a gobful about indians and blacks dying for him during the war. so he has the right to give out leaflets of his choice ,what can i tell him next time ,need some good historical facts

Tenesmus, get a grip for God's sake!!! Nobody's mentioned getting rid of anyone ... and who mentioned gays or didsabled people at all. And the Nazi jibes are really getting rather tiresome now. Why not have a fresh angle on the "I've heard this somewhere before" argument - how about mentioning the genocide in Rwanda, the inter-communal violence that marked partition in the Subcontinent, the current Arab/African strife in Sudan: nah, easier to just blame Whitey isn't it?

Kind of a tragic situation when someone asking for advice about what to do about a facist gets treated like an idiot, accused of being incapable of having their thoughts for a legitimate reason and have halfwitted arguments 'oh, you hate racists who hate black people but therefore (hello..? Personally I find your regression into the old "nazi"..ie National Socialist (propagandised) argument a little distasteful when quite a number of contributors..in my opinion mark you!!..have supplied some worthwhile thoughts. For myself I did not mock the man. I add that Hitler had a fine ideal, he ws a fine soldier who volunteered for everything in WW1. Ignorence on Hitler's idealisms and why they arose is simply Western Propaganda, nevertheless the whole Nazi train went off the rails and though Hitler was far more intelligent than either Churchill or the US President and vastly better statesman, his dream hit rock bottom.Whilst I see "neo nazis" today as pale reminders of a country striving to rise above the opressions of the victor's financial demands after WW1 (and let's face it...Europeans had been murdering each other solidly for 200 years) I do think the whole thing went to the stinko. I add that USA and UK contributed to many of the appalling acts then and later by their cowardice (or commensense as you will).. at the outset of German acts of violence breaking various trea, the Pearl Bay conspiracy and their use of the Nazi scientists.

Okay... Whilst Versailles may well have have lead to an inevitable Second World War, it did not follow as a matter of course that someone needed to pop their head up and argue that the extermination of an entire race was a necessary extension of this.

When people talk about neo-nazis, the commonly understood definition of what they are talking about people who have taken something from Hitler's rantings about race. They are not seeking reparation for the injustices done to Germany after WWI.

Maybe I'm misreading your post, and please correct me if I am wrong, but you appear to implying that Hitler was misunderstood. I've read Mein Kampf, and it's semi-literate quasi-mystical twaddle at best. Whilst I can understand someone saying there was a legitimate gripe against the Allied nations in Germany in the 1930s; the naval blockade causing mass-starvation amongst German citizens, for example, any attempt to portray Hitler as the victim of propoganda is a deluded fool.

Hi Waldo...yes I am saying that Hitler, the man, was a very different man with a fine military background as a man. In the propaganda defamation to inspire genoicide is essential whatever the county, thus Iraq/ Vietnam/France/ Europe in general/ Russia/Korea/China/Chili etc by USA, most countries by Britain/ Asia and anyone the USA bags by Australia's Government. In practice, an d Hitler quickly showed his brilliance at strategy (others call it diplomacy) but it involved, as does diplomacy, deception.I think Hitler's character was very much waylaid. No publicity is given to the jews he allowed leave hrough the intervention of his "chiropractor" for want of a better word who was the only person who could cure Hitler's headaches. I guess he descended into, paranoic lunacy as he tried to plug the holes in the new Reich. the "following" antisocial political maliciousnesses.The so called "neo nazi" movement empowers itself through the pain of others and as such has no right to respect. Unfortunately it also represents the aspirations of what were once decent young people who somehow found an outlet in amongst these morality perverts.On the other hand the "West" abounds with similar ratbags such as soccer louts and various police forces, governmental and and military groups. Neo nazism is also furthered through a lack of good example on decent living almost universally by politicans as a group. Many other respected groups profit through the pain of others too..but that doesn't by corrollary give Neo Nazism any right to respect. In closing, I do not condone German action under Hitler but his portrayal by the west is selective at best and propagandist at worst. I'm sorry Hummingbird, but I can't quite follow your line of argument on a lot of this. But you're being naive if you think Hitler did not advocate the total genocide of the Jews, whom he regarded as vermin. This is a matter of public record.

Whether or not you personally are sufficiently able to dissociate the man from his actions in order to admire his strategic ability, you cannot read Mein Kampf and other writings by him and think Hitler does not advocate a genocidal policy against the Jews, whom he blamed for Germany's defeat in WWI. I offer:
