Sea Monkeys

Does anyone know anything about Sea Monkeys? My 9yr old daughter got some at Xmas. There are about 20 in the tank, some tiny babies and some about half an inch long - three of the largest sea monkeys have what looks like a black sack at the base of their tail. Is this what they carry their eggs in?

Hi. I used to have some Sea Monkeys, and I'm sure I read that that black stuff you can see inside their bodies, is food that they have eaten, but not yet digested.

My son used to have some and i found them fascinating. Just when we thought they were all done, suddenly another 40 or so appeared!!!

thanks naz-nomad - according to the picture on your link it black sack is a brood pouch - so must be more new babies!! lol

i once had a sea monkey and it was shaped like a feather. it ate all of the other sea monkeys.
