Thanks for your reply Funkymoped, I just wish it was that simple. The problem with that is the deposit cheque had to be from the insured person�s bank account and as my son does not have a chequebook, he had to raise a Bankers draft, which means the money is taken from the account the day the draft is raised, hence why we did not know they had not cashed it. We have proof that the funds were transferred from our account to my sons account on the 6th and also that my son raised the cheque on the 9th, but that doesn�t really help. The Building Society my son banks with have told him that the draft has not been presented yet, so he has now put a stop on that one. My argument is surely the insurance company should have informed us they didn�t receive the deposit and not just cancel the insurance, because if they had we would of rectified the situation straight away ( As we did as soon as we realised he wasn�t insured)
