loose wing mirror.
hi
my wing mirror is loose - it wiggles and sits about 1 inch lower than it should. i can see prefectly well with it though.
after removing the inner panel we have discovered a missing screw and 2 loose ones - however when we pushed the screw back into the hole it didn't touch anything and was useless.
presumably this is why the electic button that enables me to adjust the mirror has no effect either.
trouble is, i have a driving test in 5 days and i am concerned that this may be a hindrance - as i can't be asking the examiner to adjust the mirror for me in the middle of a manouvre, can i??
( i may not need to but i would hate to have something that simple affect the test)
do you think this will be an issue for the examiner if i were to ask him to alter the position slightly? would he refuse or doesn't it matter?
i could try getting it fixed, but i don't know if i will get chance before the test.
thanks for any advice
