It stands for 'political intransigence'. It's the seige mentality that afflicts some people and makes them think that the sky in falling in.
These are the people who scream about the loverlee old times, but fail to pinpoint exactly when this was.
We live in one of the greatest democacies in the world. We should be dancing in the streets and hugging each other overjoyed with the luck that we had to be be born here.
90% of us are on easy street.
Those who seek to do this country and it's people down are a vocal minority...but still a minority.

Why did a Q about PC turn into a thread about immigration?
In my opinion, most of this PC rubbish doesn't actually exist ~ and is in actual fact something born from the anti PC brigade in the first place! only last week my stepdaughter asked me why Baa Baa Black Sheep had been banned.
I don't think it has..

PC isn't destroying the country. For every 1 PC act, there are 10 billion (roughly) people moaning on about it, and making more of the issue than it should ever have been given credit for.
The more pertinant question is - Are the people that despise PC the only people who are actually keeping it alive as an issue?
The real thing that threatens our country is apathy, and people that love a grumble without actually doing anything themselves.

Cheers Pips. I'm going to make a crazy prediction, and say that somewhere in the UK a shop will stop selling Easter Eggs becuase they think it might offend people. In spite of it only being Bob's Newsagent, people will go absolutely flipping mental, as if it was government policy. It will turn into a debate about immigration inside 5 posts.
