I took my daughter round to her friends today and was shocked at the state of the house. Mostly by the bird feather remains that the cat had brought in. So are you a tidy person - scrubber or a slob who doesnt believe in cleaning?

Slob I'm afraid. I do like the house looking nice and tidy and clean but there always seems something else more interesting to do so it doesn't always get done! The thing is though I can have the house really clean and tidy and no-one ever comes round, if I let it slide for a few days (which always means it looks as though I haven't done any housework for weeks!) then that's the time I get people popping in!
Biggest slob ever me.....hoover about one a year (no exageration)
im a scrubber wish i could be a slob but just cant rest till my house is clean . i clean to much really i drive my kids nuts .
I'm a scrubber too..although I do like to think I am somewhere in between the two, as I am not that worried about mess ~ but I do think things should be hygenic..to a certain standard anyway.

The things I can't stand are:

newspapers all over the place
dirty toilets
kitchen work surfaces covered in sugar/equipment/rubbish
I'm a complete scrubber!x
so Id heard Katiebee
It's true. I just love cleaning.x

I suppose Im a slob. My bed linen and towels dont match. I hoover when the follr looks like it needs it and I wash the kitchen floor when it is dirty. I tidy things up but if I am likley to need it within the next few days I wont bother. My shoes are put away though. I do not iron pants, boxers, socks, towels,or bed linen and my husbands side of the bedroom floor looks like a 12 year old lives there.
Cobwebs are good they catch dust and give the spiders somewhere to live. I wash the windows when the sun shines on them and exagerates how mucky they are.
Do I qualify as a slob.
Having said all that my kids are rarely ill and neither are the adults or the dogs.

I'm a clean freak and a minimalist whilst my wife was a real messy mare, we drove each other nuts :)
once called on my pools round to someones house and noticed a pile of dog poo behind them in the hallway. the bloke replied its ok love, we leave it a couple of days to set then it is easier to pick up.
utter slob, can't walk across the floor sometimes.

i am fussy about plates, cups etc - i leave them in piles for a few days but, before washing them and then always wash them again before each use, but have piles of clothes, books, mags, junk etc etc all over the place
A woman I used to babysit for was like that, nanscamp.

Only it wasn't dog poo..it was her childs potty.

GROSS :o(
