MM Links Game Solutions February 2007 [Week 4]
29 Answers
In a dramatic race for the Links Crown, the last four links chosen by Barbara (aka rogerr) with a TV theme are as follows:
News AGENT (or AGENCY)
Play GROUND
CLING Film
SOFT Soap
You lot must be tuning into the preferences of the setter, since all four links were spotted by the first FOUR entrants and the game was virtually over by 9.05am (after only five minutes of play!).
The "one minute man" lector claimed the first hit with PLAYGROUND and picked up the first of the bonus points. The same link (and the same recorded time) was claimed by wickedtongue AND (from the other side of the globe) by seekeerz.
Well done you three!
There's more! The sinister-sounding wickedtongue also brought in CLING FILM to claim a second double pointer! A real coup! This mysterious ABer has been scoring well on a consistent basis. By 9.03 came in Entrant #4 in the form of FoxLee claim SOFT SOAP and more bonus points.
The last link to fall was NEWS AGENT which managed to survive until 9.05 when Entrant #8, london_lassy, arrived on the scene in her usual perceptive manner!
All bonus points claimed, we move on.
Over the renaining field points were generally picked up as singles with the following exceptions. Special mention goes to Aquagility, Arabesque, gardenknowin and Paul21455, all of whom had double hits!
Most surprising is the SHOCK HORROR PROBE that our three front runners in evsajo, samurite & cliffyg all failed to add to their previous scores!
Hence the Hot Shot of the Week must be ***wickedtongue***

Hi Rob ~ well done!
I'll respond tonight by e-mail from home. In the meantime if you can begin to set up at least two thematic sets of four words with possible links, we can move this part of the process forward at a brisk pace!
