Places to stay in Carcassonne, south west France
Any recommendations for places to stay in Carcassonne, mid-April time? Or perhaps in the surrounding area? Hotels, B&B, self-catering all considered, budget fairly flexible. Any other Carcassonne tips also most welcome!

it's 10 mins from Carcassonne - an upmarket Chambres d'hote. They do table d'hote (meals basically) and the guy is a great cook. Be sure to sample the local wine - AOC Cabardes. You never get it over here. It's great.
Best place to eat in the Cite (the bit inside the walls) is Resturant Saint Jean - hidden away in one of the corners a bit, but brilliant. Be sure to try the local delicacy, Cassoulet, at some point.
