Trying to find out about this chap for a friend, dont know much he was married to Alexandra Roxburgh and he died in 1944. This is a Scottish request and a lot of sites cater more for England, any help most grateful

� Births 1855-1906
� Marriages 1855-1931
� Deaths 1855-1956
So, as Robert�s death took place in 1944, it will need a personal visit to NRH (National Register House) in Edinburgh. Or to the registration area of his place of death (eg Glasgow).
I had a look for the marriage but it must have taken place after 1931, as there were no hits for these two names.
