I have a 100,000 German mark that was sent out as an early marketing device to a family member in 1923.

It's still with the original covering letter and post marked
envelope.

I am aware of the raging inflation in Germany around this time, but does this curiosity have any value?

People on e-bay are trying to sell similar notes (but without the envelope) with reserves around US 99 cents or 1-50. They don't appear to be attracting many bids.
