anyone had a dx of cancer twice here ?
i have just looking for hope really x

My daughter has been diagnosed 3 times , so there is hope .What type of cancer do you have ?

In 1995 I had invasive breast cancer that had spread into my lymph glands. I had chemothapy and radiotherapy.
In 1998 I had hysterectomy because I had cancer cells developing in my uterus.
12 years later I still have check ups, but I remain clear and well.
A friend at work has had cancer twice, and she is also OK
after 15years.
Because of being involved with support groups, I know lots of people who are still surviving, years after being diagnosed. So much can be done for us, and new drugs are being developed all the time.
Never give up hope.

my dad had bowel cancer about 15 years ago.
he now has a colostomy bag
he has always had bad health in general - bad heart (takes warfarin daily ) and has arthritis.
he is now 80, and still works every day.

there is always hope, no matter what the odds

i had it in breast 4 years ago , now it has returned in bone and bit in liver . still in shock . so gratefull for replies xx

Nothing to add really, I know several people who have been diagnosed and survived more than once. Just to give you a huge hug ((((((x)))))))and a bunch of flowers from me*)*)(*(*

taran where was your daughters dx?

She has spinal cancer , and is currently under going treatment for 3 brain tumours.

Would like to add my daughter was first diagnosed at the age of 12, then it returned at 22 and again last year at the age of 35, so as i said there is hope :-)

Hi folks, just revisiting this thread after reading a later post, carly I sincerely hope and pray that all will be ok, have strength, and to all, be strong, be positive, you are all fantastic and unique people and i wish you many more years to come.
