I have just returned home to find the reason that sarumite had trouble delivering the Link Words this morning is that he had had his access suspended because he has been "acting against the Answerbank rules".

I would like to go on record as thanking him for his continued support in providing me with quiz questions for my local cricket club, for volunteering to replace me in the MM Links Games should I ever go AWOL, for his commitment to AB in the past in answering questions, for his infectious sense of humour but above all for being the complete gentleman.

If he is not reinstated, then I feel that AB will have lost a true ambassador of the highest quality.

I've just come across this thread and was most annoyed to see that sarumite had been suspended. He's been very helpful to me in the past and I've enjoyed his humour.
I didn't know that there was such a silly rule as not being able to post more than 3 replies in 5 minutes - how ridiculous!

Have only just discovered how to email Ed. and have done so. He/she takes life too seriously - and it's too short. AB is not an examination centre - it's an information resource, and a fun one at that. We want Sarumite back NOW.

crofter .. it seems the dust has now settled following my release (together with Aquagility) from confinement in the AB high security wing.

Your original post certainly had the desired effect, as you probably knew it would, with so many generous and kind hearted people on the Q&P section. I thank you sincerely for your kind words and efforts beyond the call.

I would like to think that this spontaneous bombardment of the AB Editors quarters by so many outraged friends from this site was the main reason for our early release!!

It is disappointing that no explanation has been given for my suspension, nor was I advised of my parole!! This really is bad form.

However, Aqua and myself are now both free once more to terrorise those waiting in the shrubbery, and it was your initial effort that started this wonderful reponse. Once again I thank you sincerely for that.

I had personal reasons! I HATE marmite and the shrubbery's overflowing with jars of the foul stuff!

If you didn't eat them, then I was warned that I would have to eat it at every meal until the very last jar! UGGGGH!

Thanks for that wendyl. I am delighted to be able to report that sarumite has been returned to the fold.

The serious lesson to learn is not to answer THREE times within FIVE minutes as it is taken as the threshold for spotting AB-users known as "spammers".
