ornamental hops

My neighbour has planted ornamental hops on their side of the fence and it is taking over my garden!!!!!!.It has killed several plants including my heathers and is now heading for my eucalyptus. I keep digging up the roots and removing the foliage but its taking over.How can I curb this virulent plant?

i would post a letter through their door asking them to remove the offender

Invite them round for a cup of tea or glass of wine and then take them out into the garden and explain the problem you're having. Maybe if they see the problem for themselves they might take more action.
