4x4 middle seat belt

does anyone know how far back in years middle three point seat belts in 4x4 cars go?
a lot of the older ones I've been looking at only have a middle lap belt and with 3 children I don't really want to choose which one has to use it.
which makes have them, so we can concentrate on them

Umm, may I ask... why are you looking at a 4x4 that is so old that it has only just come with a 3 point middle belt?

because i cant afford to buy a new one!!!!!
