Could I suggest, if it has not been suggested before, that you lock questions after you have replied, AB Editor.

In the thread, Ed....is this acceptable, below, if you had locked the thread after your reply, the nonsense that followed, including the giving out of the address to which the original questioner had objected, would not have happened. Please think about it seriously - few of us want suggestions to sink to the level of Body & Soul.

Does that not seem right to you ummmm? This is suggestions and however long it takes for AB Ed to reply to a suggestion, if and when she does so any posts after that become meaningless don't they? You can debate the matter over and over but you are not going to get AB Ed to change her mind once she has spoken.

As for your thread, you stated that your only issue was the address. AB Ed had replied to say that posting of addresses was totally unacceptable which was what she had to say and was correct.
I don't actually either agree or disagree....

My main point was the address....but as the thread had already been deleted then reinstated....it means we can no longer report...so I couldn't report the answer that had the address in it. She did say she didn't know why we couldn't report...but if she read the question properly she would have known.
For the record, I never posted the address again, just part of it, which WM requested, hardly a crime, but ...if you`ve got nothing better to do with your time on here, carry on moaning

I did not suggest YOU did, ELVIS68 - yet the address was still given out was it not? As for moaning, all I have done is put a suggestion to AB Editor!
if the ed doesn't mind, neither should you as it does not affect you. ignore it

So we are not allowed to put suggestions to improve the site now, joko? Strange, I thought that what this category was actually for. LOL.
