I hope not. I think it's a very cruel show, giving false hopes to ambitious young people with great voices who would probably have been more successful had they made it through different channels. It makes a laughing stock of them. I wish David Sneddon and Michelle McManus all the best for the future, whatever they do. It would be cruel if a third show was made and yet another wonderful talented person have their life ruined.
david sneddon gave it up to become a songwriter instead and alex parks seems to have disappeared but then she was given some crap songs to release.
her voice is amazing and lends itself really weel to certain songs.i hope she comes back with some decent material
I hope there is. Fame Academy has got to be my most favourite programme of all time! Alex was the best new talent to come out of reality tv, why should it be stopped now?!!
Oh but there is one thing I have heard. Endemol are meant to be replacing Fame Academy with a new show called "Rock stars" but I don't think that is confirmed yet.
"BBC director-general Mark Thompson intends to shift the Corporations programme policy away from tired and derivative reality programmes in favour of genres with a clear public value such as drama and comedy." (http://www.thestage.co.uk/news/newsstory.php?sid=3990). Seems likely that there won't be another Fame Academy then.
