My 3 year old son has been that way since he was 1... I am a single mum and it is very hard for me plus i have a 9 week old who thank God is very good...
Since my first son was born i knew something was not right.. he cried and cried ALL the time, after months of persisting with the gp's and the hospital he was diagnosed with Reflux, apparently his intestine had'nt formed correctly and had a hole which caused every feed to be projectile vomited and in turn cause him to scream for hours! I was with his dad at the time who was no help at all and told me i wanted my son to be ill to get attention!!
When my son was 1 i noticed that he was more active than other children his age and as the months passed it got worse, i was advised to take him to play groups to "burn his energy" but that only made things worse as his behaviour caused the playgroup assistants to tell me off infront of other mum's for it !! At one place the assistant even shook him!! Anyway, to cut a long story short we finally had him diagnosed with Hyperactivity but they won't medicate as they say he's too young... He just never stops, climbs everything, including people, and shouts all the time, when he is disciplined, (verbally), he answers back. He is also an inxomniac, does'nt get to sleep till 4/5 am! The only people who can tolerate him are me and my parents, my friends don't even want to visit as he jumps all over them!... Just now as i was writing this i had to stop as he climbed on something in the kitchen and knocked a plant pot and there was earth everywhere!! Just took me ages to clean up!
Hope your daughter is'nt like my little boy and is just going through a rebelious phase... My son starts nursery in September so i'm hoping this will help us. Ilove him so much but this is just too much.
