Hair Product

about 15 years ago there was a product available from most salons that began with a H, somehtng like Henna, but obvioulsy not.
it was a thick gloopy wax that you applied to your hair and left for 15 minutes. it was an intense conditionling treatment that turned my friends straw-like hair into silk. literally.
does anybody know what this was, and if so, if its still around?
if not does anybody know of a hair porduct similar to the one described.

Hi,
I'm not sure about a product like you describe from a salon, but Boots Henna Wax was a thick pink intensive conditioner that came in a jar that used to work wonders on my dry hair. I'm not sure if it is still available. If not, try Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Conditioner. I use hair straightners every day and find using that twice a week really helps.

Thanks Emz26 I just brought the boots one today!

And thanks liquidspace, it was Henera, but couldnt find it anywhere in the town, so i settled for the boots version.

It's good to know that they still sell it! I will go and buy some myself.
I would also recommend Redken Velvet Gelatine. It's a gel that you work into damp hair before you blowdry/straighten and it literally does leave your hair feeling like velvet.

yeah its called henna wax you can get it really cheap in hair dressing supply shops we use it all the time in my salon its really good !!!
