Non-Believers

We've had 'Why do Christians believe?' so let's put the boot on the other foot and ask 'Why do non-believers disbelieve?' I imagine there could be a lot of one line answers here, but a little explanation would be good.

My reasons are very simple, it's a complete lack of evidence, it's "blind" faith, it's the arrogance of every religion in the belief that theirs is correct and all others are wrong, it's the conflict and terrible suffering relision causes, it's the picking and choosing of which bits of the bible people wish to believe and the amount of sheer nastiness in the bible. The God described by christians is a violent, jealous *******.
To sum it up, "It's all Pish".

Just think, in the days a midge has life on this planet, they may see everything around them moving really slowly so their time in existence to us is very quick.
We measure our relevance with nothing because some humans only see our being as the most important.
Midges still get on your nerves though.
