my laptop shuts ok with battery
but when i use the power cable
it seems not to shut down propoerly
it says computer shutting down
but their is a light showing on my laptop
does that mean its not shut off prooperly

is it not just the light to show the power cablr is plugged in and on.

from my limited experience with laptops i think th lead is just a power light to show you have an external power source connected

remove the power lead and the light should go out, if it doesn't then sorry i can't help.
