I have been getting headaches for the past three days every afternoon, it feels like there is pressure behind my eye and all down one side of my head and I feel sick, is this just a migraine?

Because of the sudden onset and frequency of attacks, you should go to your GP and get checked over. Do you do something different in the afternoons? Do you use a pc at work for instance? Have you started eating anything different recently or drinking lots of coffee (my main trigger which is a total bummer as I love coffee) or are you under a lot of stress at present?
If you have not recenty had your eyesight tested I suggest you try that first (including checking the suitability of any glasses/lenses you wear). The symtoms can be the result of tiredness and may be related to the sort of work/activity you engage in (close-up, concentrated attention ?). Migraine is often used as a catch-all diagnosis and the starting point for lots of medication - it is possible there is some very simple explanation. Three days is a very short time - observe for weeks at least, recording activity together with timing and severity of the symptoms. Are you better at weekends ?
