I have stewed some rhubarb and thought I would add strawberry jelly to it, to set. It is NOT setting. Is rhubarb one of those fruits that don't allow jelly to set? Thanks.

Denise, it works well for me. I stew the rhubarb, and add the jelly into the hot mixture to dissolve, make up to a pint and leave to set as normal. I love it, and can't wait for my rhubarb to grow a bit more. I can't think why yours isn't working.
put it back on low heat and add some fruit pectin in it. this should work.
You didnt cook it enough before putting in the jelly
