Eyelashes falling out

My mums eyelashes have fallen out at the bottom. It happended when taking her mascara off so she thinks she might be allergic to it (even tho shes used it for years0). Just want to know if anyone else has ever had this happen and will the lashes grow back?

my sis went to get a eyebrow wax n the technician dropped the wax on her lashes leavin a scar, they will never grow back for her unfortunately. but its sounds as if ur mum may have had an allergic reactin but they should grow back normally like all other hair on the body
