Boyfriend cheating past

I have been with my bf for 8 months. Him and his wife split up last year after 17 years, 5 years of it they were married. They were always breaking up and getting back together, he had an 18 month affair with someone at work and cheated on her before this aswell. He says he was never truly in love with her and never felt any guilt, and the only reason he stayed was because of his kids. There is no excuse to have an affair in my eyes!! My problem is that it makes me feel very insecure and worried he'll cheat on me, I know everyone has a past but I do worry about his! any advice?

Once a cheat always a cheat. If one isn't enough 20 isn't to many don't believe all the old flannel of "she didn't understand me", "we didn't spend quality time together" it's all rubbish. How are you going to trust someone who can't keep their trousers on???

Nat, the Rev has no experience of this and why take advice from someone that refers to Eastenders?! Keep your eyes open, but if he loves you and you love him: go for it girl. The way I'm feeling you have one life and if you meet your soulmate you have to go for it. Agree?

er because thats what I was comparing it to. She asked advice didnt know you were the only supposed to be correct and how well you know everyone on AB!! You arent the bloke are you? coz I cant see how having an affair is ever right. He may be her soulmate but she may not be his, doesnt look like he can make his mind up. Yer go for it, and end up looking like a mug when he does it again.
