What does a guava taste like?

To me, guava tastes like.... a bit watermelon, a bit pear and a bit fig, but with more body and tang.....tho it depends on the season, some are just plain sour.

Very fragrant, sweet but not syrupy. They're really luscious except the hard seeds can be a bit of a nuisance. I much prefer to drink Guava juice.
