European week (school) Update
2 Answers
Hi! Just wanted to give a little update to everyone who was kind enough to give me advice (a few weeks ago) and were also interested in what I was going to cook for that week.
Well I am half way through the week and so far (touch wood) it is going well.
Monday , I wasn't actually in but the cook who was cooked spanish chicken, with spanish salad and for pudding rice pudding with cinnamon and rasion.
Tuesday I made Polish Goulash with mash potato and for pudding polish tartlets, which were basically folded puff pastry with a blob of jam in the middle.
Today I cooked Greek (beef) stew with new potato's and Greek butter cookies.
Tomorrow it is chicken fricassee and french flan and Friday it will be Neapolitan with garlic bread and a italian fruit salad for pudding.
Must say I am relieved it's almost over but I have had fun doing this and feel quite chuffed with myself that I have managed this. Looking forward to the half term!
Anyway, thank you for the interest and with the help I was given a while back :o)
