I have had a strange pain in the back of my head/top of my neck for about a month, I don't really know what it is? It seems to ease during the day but it is worse during the night and particulary painful when I wake up in the morning. I have tried taking my pillow away at night , and I am trying to move my head and neck more during the day at work as I do sit in the same position all day. Any other suggestions on this?

I don't suppose this has anything to do with testicles being squeezed?
Push the pillow up against the headboard. It will soften the blows

Well, someone once gave me some wisdom. Sometimes you just hurt, no particular reason, you just hurt, and it gets more frequent as you get older (I'm in my twenties and dreading it).

Last summer I had neck pain for weeks, it drove me mad, as of now I don't and I can't remember when or why it went away. Unless it persists and persists, live with it. One day you'll hopefully wake up without it.
could be cervical Spondylosis, i have this condition.
in the morning when i wake i have a stiff neck and when i strech my neck it feels like it is pulling my spine out of place, also i get pins and needles all down my arm from time to time.
