Computer programme at start up

When I start up my computer a programme starts automatically. How can I stop this happening please. Tried the help section on computer with regard to start up but can't seem to find the answer. It's really frustrating because it delays computer starting

Depends what the program is and where it is starting from.

Options include checking the "Start Up" folder in your programs list and removing it from there (if present). Make sure you have it listed elsewhere before deleting it! You can also go to Start>Run and type msconfig, then press enter. This will show you what programs start with Windows, and gives you the option to not start them. Be careful as some are needed to run Windows.

Its actually Microsoft money but I cant find it in the start up folder so not sure where it is staring from
