whats a .dc file?

I run a cad system and can import DXF, DWG and IGES files.

A customer has sent a dc file and he is now not available to contact and get file resent.

Anyone know what a dc file is and if i can convert it to a dxf or dwg somehow?

.DC are DesignCAD files. I assume you're using AutoCAD.

Can't find a converter, though there is a free trial of DesignCAD which may help you here :

My software is a software designed for metalwork rather than autoCAD.

Ta for your help. I shall try and downlaod this and see what customer has sent.
