how do you all revise? what is the best way?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Kamin you just need to settle yourself down, try and avoid doing other things (suddenly cleaning your windows may seem much more thrilling), turn of tv and radio, make a big jug of coffee, get lots of plain paper and coloured pens and try to visualise what you need to learn.
I found it helps to be writing it down. Also use the system of thinking of an image for words you need to remember, like "Richard of York gave battle in vain" which reminds us of the colours of the rainbow.
There is a word for this beginning with M but I forget.

I'm always getting distracted and I've recently found that recording myself reading my notes helps. Then I can play it and read along so I'm blocking out any other distractions.
As for actually making the notes, I try and go into the garden, where ther's much less to be distracted by, or to the library, or a cafe or something where I can be relaxed with a drink and a table and no distractions (and I can reward myself with muffins...)
