why does my 2 year old son have a french accent? Everything he says sounds french, we are a west country family and its very confusing.

My three year old has a bit of a West Country accent on certain words "...I loike that..." "Daddy are you going to loight the foire..." etc...

Yes apparently so but he's in his 20's and has his own child now. When his parents asked him about it when he was older he didn't know what they were talking about so had obviously forgotten all about it.

lol flipflop I was about to say funnily enough I have a bit of a west country accent too. To answer questions he has absolutely no context with anyone french, weirdly and I hadnt thought about his mispronounciation of it before but he does call the cat ....chat!
then maybe the "chat" is french?
