I have a 19 inch widescreen LCD TV which is not HD Ready. I know that you can get really good graphics up to around 720dpi maximum on it from a games console.
I'm thinking about getting a PS3 but want to know which connection to the TV would output the best graphics etc out of the following:
By the way the PS3 will do up to 1080p but only over HDMI.
Companant, I think, only goes up to 720p.
When you say not HD ready what do you mean? What resolution will the TV do? What's the make and model. If it's not HD ready in any way then you'll not be getting 720.
You are getting a little confused, 720 in HDTV terms is the number of scan lines and not the resolution. As Lamatron says if the TV is not "HD-Ready" then you will not get any sort of high definition from the display.
Of the 3 I think Component is the best but it won't make a great deal of difference.
It says in the manual that you can get a maximum of 720dpi from the monitor when plugged into a 2nd gen games console. 720dpi+ is the HD border apparently
