dentist update

well bit sore now and feel like i have a golf ball in my mouth as my new teeth feel weird and i cant talk properly but i have to say the dentist was really nice to me and although getting dizzy at first everything was ok.

Hope Rom got on ok too. Thanx to everyone here.

oh im sooo glad you got on ok... i had a nightmare!!!
when i arrived and said my name and appointment time the receptionist looked at me blankly .. . said there was no appointment in for me.... arrrrrrgh. i ensured her that i did book it... so after some digging about and speaking to other receptionists it turned out that they had booked me in under another patients name in error, and their procedure is to call clients 2 days before to check appointments are still ok, so they had called the other patient - she said "no, cancel the appointment" and so it was taken out!!

i was so annoyed. i had been so stressed all week about it and felt tired from the stress !!!

also had travelled to glasgow (only 35 minutes but still!)

so i managed to get another appointment - for a saturday in 4 weeks time...so then i stomped to glasgow queen st station... stupid ticket wouldnt go through the barrier - so i asked the rail man and he said "its a cheap day return you have and you cant start using that again till rush hour is over - in 1 hour" arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!
so i had to rush over to the ticket office, pay an EXTRA �3 for the pleasure of sitting on a sweaty packed train. i was so ANGRY !!!!

Oh rom , just wasn't your day was it , just when I was thinking you would be sat all relaxed with the appointment behind you . 4 weeks is now a long time to wait all over again.

i know. i was just about crying!!

i went home and had several glasses of wine!!!

and yes, another 4 weeks!!! arrrgh!!! never mind, it will all be sorted by my holidays!! xx

sorry to hear that rom nothing worse than turning up all prepared and then not getting anything done.

I was quite surprised actually, when I had the injections I got a teriffic stabbing pain in my head and the dentist said that was caused by the injection.....never heard of that before. It was like a headache only twenty times worse. Tried to have scrambled egg this morning and that was a nightmare!!!!!
