unrulyjulie - did you actually read my answer? I'll reiterate - all Muslims should not be treated as suspect terrorists. Grass is green, this doesn't mean everything green is grass. Furthermore, it seemed a lot of posters on this question were including all people who looked like they could possibly be Muslim as potential threats.
Joe the Lion -I am assuming you havent flown out any Scottish airport recently -let alone Glasgow.
I have flown 7 times this year alone from Prestwick Glasgow and Edinburgh and security is so tight that I thought at one point it bordered on the ridiculous.I eat my words now.
Instead of bickering about who they were and what the motives were we should be applauding the unsung heroes who are our emergency services and the public who foiled their attempts -big up to them all.
