I live in a block of flats and we're thinking of installing a communal Sky dish. Apart from anything Sky charge, I think it would be a good idea to have a maintenance contract on the dish and wiring etc.
Looking through the net, none of the companies give much idea of how much this type of thing may cost. Anyone got any experience on this at all?

I would have thought that a maintenance contract would be a total waste of money. What can go wrong with a single cable, that could be prevented by maintenance? In the case of the dish, I would have thought that insurance would be a better option, but considering how little they (dishes) cost, you would probably end up paying more in premiums than the replacement value.
